Having worked for many years as one half of the knitwear company Muir & Osborne, Sally Muir went to Bath School of Art and Design as a mature student and became a professional painter in her forties, specialising in dogs but also occasionally portraits, landscapes and rodents. A few years ago she worked on a year-long project called A Dog a Day, which has been turned into a book of the same name.
