Bernard Stone Art Cards published by Bernard Stone. 'Tomato Field', 1952 - was one of two prints to be jointly awarded the 3rd Prize in the William Giles Bequest competition, an annual event throughout the 1950s. The aim of the competition was to encourage the development of colour printing at the time. It was administered by the Victoria and Albert Museum which acquired many of the winning entries.
